Day 183

Nolan adores his Thomas and Friends trains.  We had a track for the trains, and a train table.  However, it has become more fun to create new ways to arrange the track on the floor.  And well he needed more tracks to really create new layouts for the trains.  So I ordered him some---and they came in the mail today.  I had him open the box, and he was ecstatic!  He told me, "Mommy, this is the BEST!"  I am glad I can make my little man so excited and content with such a simple thing as more tracks for his trains!  He and Wrigley have spent the day in the living room arranging his trains and new tracks.

And it must be hard work, because they are both taking a break!

Day 182

She LOVES applesauce!  It is cute to see her smacking her lips and reaching for the gerber food container.  I can't believe my baby is already eating foods!  And I love all her silly faces while eating.  She is still getting the hang of keeping the food in her mouth.

Day 181

Before leaving Grand Haven, MI I took Nolan minature golfing.  He LOVED it, he told me, "Mommy this is way better than golf on the Wii!"  So Cute!  He had a great time, and wanted to golf another 18 holes after the first time through.  We will definitely have to mini golf again this summer.

Day 180

We went to Grand Haven, MI with some friends this weekend.  And we rented a cabin, now when I tell you rustic that is an understatement!  This cabin had beds inside, no washroom, and was TINY!!!  I think we would have enjoyed it had the weather cooperated with us...but it RAINED most of the weekend...which was hard with no where to hide out, and two littles!  Todd and I decided after one night with rain that it was just too much and made the decision to come home.  What is funny is we both love camping, but when you add in two little children it is not as easy to tough out the elements!  Nolan enjoyed his night of camping, he loved the campfire, and the park, and meeting new people.

Day 179

Nolan had his last day of preschool today. They celebrated at a park.  Here he is with his teacher Mrs. G.  He certainly had a wonderful year, he started school as a toddler with a baby face, and ended the year as a big brother who is 3 year old preschool bound, and who has learned so much.  

Nolan your vocabulary has grown immensely, you can count to 20, you know your alphabet and all your shapes.  You are learning to write your name, and learning to spell.  You are so very sweet, and really just a delight!  I LOVE you so much, and I am enjoying watching you grow!
