I have been using my iPhone a bit more lately.  Can I tell you I love the instagram application!

Nolan always like to say that our backyard porch is the "rainforest cafe,"  and well today we went on a nature hike in our subdivision.  We live in an area with prairie grasses and their is a little hiking trail through the grasses.  So Nolan and I went on an "adventure" as he called it.  I love how his mind works!  He saw every little grasshopper and butterfly, he told me about the colors and shapes of the flowers and leaves.  I was amazed at the number of butterflies, they kept flying up from under our feet or off of the flowers nearby.  Towards the end of the walk we even spotted a baby deer.  I really enjoyed the walk, and getting the opportunity to talk with Nolan.  I LOVE him!

Day 272

It has been quite "HOT" here the past few days.  I think my car read 98 degrees today and it is September....so we decided to have a trip to the pool.  And Avery was all geared up to play in the splash park!

Day 271

We went to Make a Messterpiece in Glenview, Il today.  Nolan loved all the craft projects and just playtime. This is a picture of him geared up for what is called drum-roll, to me it was like Blue Man Group.  He got all geared up, went in a room where you could bang on drums full of paint.  Nolan wanted to stay all day long, he really enjoyed it!
